The PIXAPRO Orbit600 is a white motorised turntable with a diameter of 60cm, that enables you to create high-quality 360° rotatable images and videos of medium to large products, which may otherwise be difficult to achieve using a traditional manual turntable. With a Maximum Load Capacity of 150kg, it can be used to shoot a wide range of subjects, such as Small furniture, electronics and small appliances, mannequins, or even Live Models etc. The ORBIT600 can be used for a variety of applications, such as 360° Photography or 360° video for E-Commerce or educational websites, Photogrammetry or 3D Scanning for use in Game Development, VFX, or Digital Archiving. It can also be used in Shop Displays or in exhibitions to show off key products.

High Load Capacity

The PIXAPRO ORBIT600 has a maximum load capacity of 150kg, making it suitable for filming or photographing some heavier items, such as small items of furniture, small appliances, and even people.

Variable Rotation Speeds

The ORBIT600 features 10 Rotation Speeds between 30 and 100 seconds (Rotation speeds will vary, depending on load). It also enables you to control how fast or how slow the table rotates. Ideal for shooting 360° Video, or for use on product displays.

Wireless Remote Control

The ORBIT600 comes with an infra-red remote control, which enables you to control the rotation speed and the direction of the turntable remotely

The PIXAPRO ORBIT600 is an essential piece of kit for any product photographer or videographer, who wants to add a new dimension to their product photography and videos.

PLEASE NOTE: This turntable works best with items that have a bit of weight to them. It requires the weight of the item to properly engage the motors for a smooth rotation. If you would like to shoot small, lightweight items, we recommend the ORBIT300 Smart Turntable.

We have two recommendations with available options.

Firstly we recommend ensuring the lighting set up and products are correctly exposed before taking the product photos. This will reduce any editing or retouching that will need to be done, saving time post production.

When you are then ready to take the sequence shots with the PIXAPRO ORBIT600 360° Motorised Turntable. You can control the angle of the product using the remote included, without the need of moving anything. This will ensure that they are perfectly aligned, which will mean less hassle when editing them into a GIF or other 360° spin software. You can pause the turntable at any point to take a photo, if you wish to avoid any possible flickering/blurring in the images. The latest Adobe Photoshop CC is the best choice for batching images for 360°.

OPTION 1: Using Adobe Photoshop CC to convert multiple image into a GIF
The latest Adobe Photoshop CC will allow you to merge multiple images in to one 360° rotation, as a gif file. You will be asked what frame rate you want the image set to. For 16 frames 10fps is fast, 6fps medium and 3fps slow. Please ensure there is sufficient memory when saving your work, otherwise you will need to reduce the file sizes even further. For website images 100kb or less work well.

OPTION 2: Using Sirv to create an interactive 360° spin https://sirv.com/
You can also use Sirv to create an interactive 360° spin for the web. You can upload a set of photos, wait a few seconds for a link, copy the embed link and paste this anywhere on your website, and you will have an interactive 360° image with zooming. Sirv works on all the major browsers, phones and tablets, iPhone and Android. Sirv needs a series of jpeg images numbered in sequential order in order to create a 360° image.
