Delivery Information

Here at PIXAPRO we try to keep our prices as low as possible, this includes our shipping costs. Unfortunately due to a recent price increase from our courier we have had to increase our shipping prices for our International standard delivery service, which will be in place from the 31st of July 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding.

1.       What are my delivery options to the UK? 

  •     UK Saver Delivery £5.00 – We recommend allowing 2-3 working days for your order to reach you.

2.      What are my delivery options to International Destinations? 

  •    International Standard Delivery – Usually 2-5 working days is recommended. 
  •    International Express Delivery – Usually 1-2 working days is recommended. 

The delivery times can differ depending on your country, therefore please refer to our International Expected Delivery Times. Please Note that delivery times may differ for remote areas dependant on accessibility.

3.      How can I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number from the courier company once your delivery has been booked in. You will also receive a notification from the courier company to confirm your dispatch. Once you have received your tracking number, your items will then be dispatched within 24 hours, depending on your chosen delivery option. Our preferred couriers are as follows; DPD, UPS, Royal Mail, or Parcel Force. You can track your order by going onto the courier company’s website, and using there tracking services available.

 

UPS tracking numbers will be as shown; 1ZAV9092XXXXXXXXX

 

DPD tracking numbers will be as shown; 6XXXXXXXXX

 

Royal Mail tracking number will end in GB; FHXXXXXXXXXGB

 

To request your tracking number or for assistant with any tracking exceptions, please email our customer service team at customerservice@essentialphoto.co.uk.

 

4.       How do customs and import duties work on deliveries outside of Europe?

We now have shipping available to the US, Canada and Australia, all orders placed in these countries will automatically exclude UK TAX (VAT) of 20% on our website, this means you will not have to pay TAX on orders placed through our website.

All orders placed within these countries are classed as an export, this means that Import duty and shipping tax will have to be paid by the customer upon entering the designated country. When the order enters the designated country, the courier will get in contact to arrange import TAX payment, this will vary dependant on the location. A clearance and admin charge will be required for processing of your order.

Please Note that all electrical equipment is only available with a UK 3-Pin Plug, for any other plug/socket type an adapter will be required.

Please be aware shipping to a private individual a social security number or TAX ID for a business will be required for the customs clearance.

 

5.       What if I miss my delivery or know I will not be in?

We have a number of different options available such as your items being left in a safe place, delivery to a neighbour, pick up shops and requested delivery dates. Therefore, please contact a member of our team who will be happy to assist you with your options available. All orders over £500.00 are shipped on “Adult Signature Required” therefore, these cannot be left in a safe place and must be signed for. We will where possible take into consideration the added notes on your order if any special delivery instructions are needed, however please be aware this is not guaranteed and is up to the driver’s discretion. 

 

6.       My order is over £150.00 but postage is still being charged?

Please be aware, free standard postage is only available on orders over £150.00 and being delivered within the UK Mainland’s. Unfortunately, this offer does not apply to any orders that are being dispatched to the Offshore or to International destinations. 

 

7.       My order has not been delivered?

Please be aware, UK Next Working Day Delivery, International Express, before 2pm Services and Saturday Deliveries are not guaranteed as sometimes your parcel may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and no matter how hard we try, traffic, adverse weather or a breakdown can stop us from delivering your package. We will however be happy to assist you with your delivery and to get the delay resolved as quickly as possible. Please contact our customer service team with your order number at customerservice@essentialphoto.co.uk

Please also be aware, if your first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier may choose to deliver your item(s) to the local UPS Access Point, DPD Pick Up Shop or Royal Mail Depot, depending on the courier used. In these cases, normally a card from the courier will be pushed through your letterbox, however our customer service team will also be happy to update you by email. For these type of deliveries, the item(s) must be collected from the confirmed location, with the correct ID within 10 days of the delivery. Please be aware, If the item(s) are not collected within this time, they will be returned back to our main warehouse and a further postage charge may be required to re-ship your order to you. Please note, the pickup shops are a normal procedure put in place by the courier companies, to allow you to still receive your order the same day of delivery, if the delivery attempt has been missed, however not all items are eligible for the Pick Up Shop. For more information/assistance regarding your Pick Up Shop Delivery, please contact customerservice@essentialphoto.co.uk.

Please Note: We will be unable to refund postage or offer compensation for orders that receive delays due to unforseen circumstances.

 

8.       What if my postcode is classed as the Highlands or Offshore?

Please note the shipping fee only covers UK Mainland delivery, for Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands there will be an additional charge. Please see below;

Please be aware that orders being sent to Highland/Offshore postcodes can take up to 3 working days to be delivered, especially when using Parcel Force. Please allow 72 hours after your item(s) have been dispatched from our UK Warehouse for delivery. To check if your postcode falls under our Highland & Offshore areas please see below;

AB31-AB38, AB41 – AB56, FK17 – FK21, HS1 – HS9, IV1 – IV99, KA27 – KA28, KW1 – K17, PA20 -  PA80, PH15 – PH50, ZE1 – ZE3

 

PLEASE NOTE: For orders over £250 placed in Guernsey, a shipping TAX will have to be paid once the item has arrived in the designated area, this will be requested by the courier.

 

9.      Timed Delivery

In regards to delivery options which are provided, all services both to the UK and International destinations are not a guaranteed service (this also includes timed services, next working day/express services, and weekend services). Once the items are booked in by our booking team, and dispatched from our warehouse on time, we put good faith in the courier company and the delivery drivers to ensure that this item is delivered on time. Unfortunately, once the item(s) have left our warehouse on the correct service and within the correct time frame, it is the courier responsibility to ensure that the items are delivered on time.

 

Please note, when requesting other delivery options from the couriers, such as delivery to a pick up shop, you will have to allow 24 hours for the request to be received by the courier company and actioned. Please keep this in mind when expecting your delivery.

 

Postage cannot be refunded due to delays with the courier companies. No delivery service or delivery option chosen is guaranteed in any way.


 

10.       Large Items

Please be aware that some of our products are too large for our regular courier, this means that we will have to use an alternative courier in order to deliver your item at an additional shipping charge. This charge will be taken after purchase and will be required to send your item out. We will contact you before dispatching your order. This service can take up to 48 hours and is not available on Saturdays or timed deliveries

Please note, if an item is classed as a large item, we cannot guarantee next working day delivery, express delivery or timed delivery. Please note, large items may be delayed while being processed by the courier company and due to this, we would be unable to refund any postage paid due to a delivery delay. 

 

11.       Pre Orders

Orders placed under a pre-order will be dispatched from our warehouse as soon as they are available. In the case of part of your order being a pre-order we will get in contact you to confirm whether you would like for all the order to be sent out together or separately when available. 

 

12.       Delivery Notes

On the checkout process you will have the option to add a delivery note to the order, this would be an advisory for the courier driver on any information that may help with delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a note added on to the parcel and does not guarantee that these will be followed, we will not in anyway be accountable if these are not followed by the courier driver.

 

Please Note: We will be unable to offer compensation in any case for orders that are experiencing a delay in delivery due to it not being available or placed as a pre-order.
