This scissor boom arm mounts to any solid wall with four large steel anchor bolts. The anchor bolts expand inside the wall when tightened, to ensure that the boom stand stays securely mounted to the wall. The combination of the Anchor Wall Bolts, and its heavy-duty build quality enables it to take loads of up to 10 kg, making it suitable for use with heavier light and modifier combinations.
Pantograph-Styled Extension System
The wall-mounted scissor boom arm features a pantograph-styled extension mechanism, enabling the boom to be smoothly extended anywhere between 15cm and 120cm. This makes it perfectly suited for small studio spaces with extremely little floor real-estate to work with.
180° Rotation Scissor
The PixaPro studio boom arm can be rotated a full 180°, enabling it to be either angled perpendicular to the wall, flat against the wall, or anywhere in between. Combined with its 15-120cm extension the boom arm gives you a lot of flexibility when it comes to positioning your lighting.
2-Sectioned Riser
The wall-mounted boom arm features a 2-sectioned riser, which can be extended between 48cm and 80cm. The boom itself can also be moved up and down the 120cm main column, this means that the wall-mounted scissor boom offers many possibilities and movement with your studio lighting equipment.
Standard 5/8-inch Stud
The wall-mount boom arm features an industry-standard 5/8" stud with a 3/8”-16 thread. This makes the scissor boom compatible with virtually all studio lighting systems.
