Gesture Control

The Nano 2’s intuitive gesture controls are designed to help you capture smooth, cinematic footage with ease. Simply press the On/Off switch along with the Fn button to launch quick-start mode, giving you access to precise and seamless camera movements. Perfect for creators who value accuracy and expressive storytelling. 

Power Compatibility Notice

For optimal performance, particularly when paired with the DJI Ronin 4 Series, we recommend using our PD140H battery grip, which provides the required power input for smooth and reliable gesture control. Alternative power sources, such as NP-F batteries or third-party PD power banks, may not deliver sufficient power and could lead to inconsistent gesture functionality or reduced performance.

Facial Recognition

Powered by advanced AI, the Nano II intelligently detects faces and tracks subjects with ease. On its own, it delivers dual-axis horizontal tracking, and when paired with DJI stabilisers, it unlocks full five-axis smart tracking, including pan, tilt, and roll for exceptionally smooth footage.

Note: When used independently, Nano II supports lateral tracking only. Tilt functionality is available when connected to compatible DJI equipment.

DJI and Nano 2 Integration

To integrate with DJI, the Nano must use the DJI adapter and a battery or PD power supply capable of 60W output.

The Nano II’s P-axis gimbal base features a 6-pin power and communication system, designed to integrate seamlessly with the DJI adapter or additional iFootage motion axes. Featuring a 50mm quick-release slot, the system allows you to easily attach InstaLite’s vertical and horizontal shooting plates, allowing you to capture a multitude of angles. For added flexibility, pair the Shark Slider with the DJI adapter to mount DJI stabilisers and expand your shooting possibilities.
