Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 (SPECIAL ORDER)

Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 has four independent 6G-SDI inputs supporting SD, HD, and Ultra HD up to 2160p30. Simply connect your sources for a 2x2 grid view on an HD or Ultra HD TV. Use the included Ethernet remote software to enable audio meters, select audio output, add custom labels, and more. It’s compatible with the Teranex Mini Rack Shelf for desktop or rack mounting, and you can add an optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel for front panel control. For reliability, MultiView 4 can be powered via AC or Power over Ethernet.

Multi source monitoring

Multi-view monitoring is ideal for large control rooms, live multi-camera productions, or tight spaces where multiple monitors aren’t feasible. With Blackmagic MultiViews, you can view all video sources on a single HD or Ultra HD monitor without needing extra monitors, cables, or power. Just connect your cameras, decks, switchers, and routers via SDI for clear, detailed displays.

Independent Monitoring

Each view on a Blackmagic MultiView acts as an independent monitor, with full frame re-synchronization for all 6G-SDI inputs. It supports any video standard or frame rate, including NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and Ultra HD up to 2160p30, all on the same display.

High Resolution Monitoring

Blackmagic MultiView supports both HD and Ultra HD displays, offering maximum compatibility with your existing HD equipment. You can use regular HD displays or upgrade to Ultra HD for four times the sharpness. On an Ultra HD monitor, each 2x2 view is displayed at full 1920x1080 HD resolution without scaling. MultiView includes both 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs for connecting to TVs, projectors, broadcast monitors, and more.

Advanced Monitoring Tools

Blackmagic MultiViews offer advanced monitoring tools, including custom labels, audio meters, tally indicators, and more. You can choose the audio source for video output. The on-screen labels are subtly designed and resize based on the layout. It also supports anamorphic 16x9 video in standard definition for widescreen viewing.

Multi Rate 6G-SDI Connections

MultiView 4 offers multi-rate 6G-SDI inputs with full frame re-synchronization and loop-through outputs, ensuring compatibility with your equipment. It automatically detects and re-syncs SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p30, with HDMI 2.0 and 6G-SDI outputs for both HD and Ultra HD.

MultiView 4 offers a compact, portable solution for easy multi-viewing. Just plug in your sources, turn it on, and you'll instantly see a quad-split view of everything.

Multi MultiViews

Blackmagic MultiView 4 handles 4 sources in a compact size, and you can daisy-chain multiple units to monitor up to seven sources on the same display. 

Optional Front Panel Controls

Blackmagic MultiView 4 works with the optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel for front panel controls. Simply swap the panel to easily adjust settings like custom labels, audio meters, borders, tally, IP address, and video format with dedicated buttons, an LCD screen, and a spin knob.

External “Router” Control

MultiView emulates a Blackmagic Videohub router, ensuring full compatibility with Videohub software and hardware control panels for routing inputs to any monitor view. Both models can be controlled remotely via the included software for Mac or Windows, allowing quick setting changes and on-screen label adjustments without accessing the front panel.
