The YC Onion Tako Pedal Base is designed to transform a monopod into a more dynamic, fluid shooting tool. Built for use with the Tako Nano Carbon Fibre Monopod, it introduces controlled movement, quick repositioning, and improved stability for both photo and video work.
With a foot-operated pedal, you can instantly switch between locked and swivelling modes without taking your hands off the camera. This makes it far easier to follow motion, adjust framing, or reposition quickly during a shoot. An integrated Arca-type quick release receiver allows fast mounting of compatible monopods or cameras, reducing downtime between setups and making it simple to switch between high and low shooting angles.
Pedal-controlled swivel
Step on the pedal to unlock the base and enable smooth swivelling motion. This allows you to track subjects or reposition fluidly without lifting the monopod.
Adjustable drag system
Use the adjustment knob to fine-tune how freely the base moves. Increase resistance for more control or loosen it for faster, more fluid motion depending on your shooting style.
Dual-angle locking legs
The base legs can be locked at two distinct angles, helping you adapt to uneven ground or different shooting positions while maintaining stability.
Arca-type quick release receiver
