Four FJ100 100Ws strobes

The four-light configuration provides greater flexibility when building more involved lighting arrangements. Rather than relying on one or two fixtures to perform several roles, individual FJ100 units can be positioned as key, fill, rim and background lights. Alternatively, they can be distributed around a venue or larger shooting area. Each FJ100 delivers up to 100Ws of flash output while weighing 1.57 lb / 0.71kg, keeping the individual lights compact enough for location work.

9-stop power control

Each FJ100 can be adjusted from 0.78 to 100Ws across a 9-stop range. Independent adjustment is particularly useful in a four-light setup. A key light can operate at higher output while fill, background and separation lights are reduced to achieve the required balance.

Automatic and manual 24–200mm zoom

Each FJ100 features a built-in 24–200mm zoom that can automatically match lens focal length or be controlled manually. Manual adjustment lets you tailor the beam of each light to its role. Wider settings provide broader coverage, while narrower settings concentrate the flash more precisely.

Fast recycling and action control

Recycle times range from 0.01 to 1.6 seconds, helping the FJ100 keep pace during faster shooting sequences. Freeze functionality provides flash durations as short as 1/40,400 sec at t0.5, while continuous capture is supported at up to 60 fps, camera dependent. High-speed sync supports shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec, giving you more control when balancing flash with bright ambient light or shooting with wider apertures.

Creative Mask

Westcott's Creative Mask functionality allows photographers to create up to six lighting combinations without physically repositioning the fixtures. With four FJ100 units available, this provides useful flexibility for sports, school, portrait and high-volume workflows where several lighting combinations may be required from one setup.

FJ-T1 S trigger for Sony

The included FJ-T1 S touchscreen trigger is designed specifically for Sony cameras and supports Sony ADI / P-TTL metering. It provides wireless control through Westcott's 2.4GHz FJ system, which offers 31 channels, 16 groups and a stated wireless range of up to 100m / 328.1'. Colour-coded LED group indicators on the FJ100 units help identify individual lights, making a four-light arrangement easier to organise and adjust from the shooting position.

FJ Mini rechargeable batteries

Each FJ100 is supplied with a removable 7.4V, 3200mAh FJ Mini lithium-ion battery. Each battery provides 700+ full-power flashes per charge and has a stated USB-C charging time of approximately 140 minutes. Battery status indicators help you monitor remaining power during a shoot. The FJ100 can also be charged or powered via USB-C, providing additional flexibility during longer sessions.

StudioLink app control

When combined with the FJ trigger, the Westcott StudioLink app for Android and iOS allows lighting settings to be adjusted remotely from a smartphone. With four strobes positioned around a set, remote adjustment can reduce the need to move between individual fixtures whenever a lighting change is required.

Built for repeated shooting

Each FJ100 incorporates passive cooling and multi-stage heat protection and is capable of up to 100 consecutive full-power flashes. Firmware updates are supported through the USB-C data connection, while auto dump, auto power off, audible beep and auto memory recall provide additional operational functionality.

Flexible light shaping

Each FJ100 uses Westcott's native Twist Lock modifier mount and includes a removable tilt bracket with a 5/8" receiver for mounting to a compatible stand. An 8mm umbrella shaft is also supported. For Bowens-mount modifiers, the separately available Westcott S-Bracket 2 provides compatibility with suitable modifiers weighing up to 1.3 lb.
