How it works

Two compact FJ100 100Ws strobes

Each FJ100 delivers up to 100Ws of flash power from a compact body measuring 6.2 x 5 x 3.1" and weighing 1.57 lb / 0.71kg. Output can be adjusted through a 9-stop range from 0.78 to 100Ws. This gives you the flexibility to use stronger output when competing with ambient light or reduce power for more controlled portrait and multi-light setups. An integrated colour LCD touchscreen provides direct control over settings, while colour-coded LED group indicators make individual lights easier to identify when working with multiple units.

Automatic and manual 24–200mm zoom

The built-in 24–200mm zoom can automatically follow your lens focal length or be adjusted manually. This gives you direct control over the beam spread. Wider settings provide broader coverage, while narrower settings concentrate the flash for more selective lighting.

Fast recycling and action control

The included FJ-T1 S is designed specifically for Sony cameras and provides Sony ADI / P-TTL metering. It controls the FJ100 strobes through Westcott's 2.4GHz FJ wireless system, with 31 channels, 16 groups and a stated wireless range of up to 100m / 328.1'. This allows both strobes to be positioned away from the camera while retaining convenient control from the shooting position.

FJ Mini rechargeable batteries

Each FJ100 is supplied with a removable 7.4V, 3200mAh FJ Mini lithium-ion battery, providing 700+ full-power flashes per charge. Charging takes approximately 140 minutes via USB-C, and battery status indicators help you monitor remaining power. The FJ100 can also be charged or powered over USB-C, giving you another option during longer shooting sessions.

StudioLink app control

When used with the FJ trigger, the Westcott StudioLink app for Android and iOS allows compatible settings and lights to be adjusted remotely from a smartphone. This can be particularly convenient when lights are mounted high on stands or positioned where repeatedly reaching the controls would interrupt the shoot.

Octa 15 softbox with grid

Two compact 7' stands

Two 7' compact light stands are supplied, allowing both strobes to be positioned independently. Each FJ100 also includes a removable tilt bracket with a 5/8" receiver, giving you control over the angle of the flash after it has been mounted. An 8mm umbrella shaft can also be accommodated.

Twist Lock modifier compatibility

The FJ100 natively supports compatible Westcott Twist Lock modifiers. For photographers with Bowens-mount modifiers, the separately available Westcott S-Bracket 2 provides access to compatible Bowens accessories and supports modifiers weighing up to 1.3 lb.
