FJ100 100Ws Off-Camera Strobe

The FJ100 provides up to 100Ws of portable flash power with a 9-stop adjustment range extending from 0.78 to 100Ws. That range provides control for different shooting conditions, from lower-powered portrait and fill lighting to higher output when balancing flash against brighter ambient light. Recycle times range from 0.01 to 1.6 seconds, helping the light keep pace with fast-moving portrait, wedding and event sessions.

FJ-T1 S Trigger for Sony

The included FJ-T1 S Touchscreen Trigger is designed specifically for Sony cameras and provides Sony ADI / P-TTL control of the FJ100. This allows flash settings to be controlled wirelessly from the camera position rather than requiring adjustments directly on the strobe. Combined with the FJ100's integrated wireless receiver, the system provides 31 channels, 16 groups and a stated range of up to 328 ft / 100 m.

Octa 15 Softbox with Grid

The included Westcott Octa 15 Softbox transforms the direct output of the FJ100 into a softer, broader light source. Its octagonal shape is well suited to portrait lighting, while the included 50° grid helps reduce unwanted spill and keep the softened light directed towards the subject. This gives you the option of broad soft light when the grid is removed or more controlled illumination when the grid is fitted.

7' Compact Light Stand

The included Westcott Compact Light Stand provides the support and height needed to position the FJ100 away from the camera. With a maximum stated height of 7', it provides useful positioning flexibility for key, fill and other off-camera lighting arrangements.

FJ Mini AC/DC Battery

The FJ100 is powered by the included removable 7.4V, 3200mAh, 23.68Wh FJ Mini lithium-ion battery. It provides 700+ full-power flashes per charge and takes approximately 140 minutes / 2.3 hours to recharge via USB-C. USB power capability provides additional flexibility during longer sessions, while the battery is also shared with compatible FJ100 Speedlights.

Lite Traveler Backpack

The included Westcott Lite Traveler Backpack provides a padded carrying solution for the kit. Rather than transporting the strobe, trigger, modifier and accessories individually, the backpack helps keep the portable lighting setup together when travelling between locations. Individual travel cases for the FJ100, FJ-T1 and Octa 15 are also included.

Fast flash for action and ambient control

The FJ100 supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec, providing greater control when combining flash with brighter ambient light. Freeze mode offers flash durations as short as 1/40,400 sec (t0.5) for capturing fast-moving subjects, while front and rear curtain sync and stroboscopic operation provide further creative options. The FJ100 is capable of shooting at up to 60 fps, camera dependent.

Automatic and manual 24-200mm zoom

An integrated 24-200mm zoom allows the FJ100 to adjust its beam spread automatically or manually. This provides another level of light control before the Octa 15 or another compatible modifier is attached, allowing the beam to be adapted to different lenses, compositions and lighting requirements.

Creative Mask

Westcott's Creative Mask functionality allows photographers to produce up to six lighting combinations without physically repositioning the fixtures. It is particularly useful for sports, school, high-volume and portrait photography where several lighting variations need to be produced efficiently.

Touchscreen and FJ Wireless control

Twist Lock modifier compatibility

The FJ100 features Westcott's Twist Lock modifier mount, used by the supplied Octa 15 Softbox and other compatible Twist Lock accessories. For photographers who need to work with larger Bowens-mount modifiers, the separately available Westcott S-Bracket 2 provides Bowens compatibility for suitable modifiers weighing up to 1.3 lb.
