SwitUC-2065 65W USB-C GaN Travel Charger

The SWIT UC-2065 65W USB-C Travel Charger is a compact GaN charger designed for camera batteries, laptops, tablets and everyday smart devices. Using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, the UC-2065 combines up to 65W output with a charger-only weight of just 100g. It provides two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, allowing up to three compatible devices to be connected simultaneously.

For production crews, the UC-2065 provides a particularly convenient way to charge compatible SWIT camera batteries equipped with USB-C charging. The same charger can then be used for a laptop, tablet, smartphone or other compatible equipment, reducing the number of separate power adaptors needed when travelling. A foldable US plug is built into the charger, with interchangeable UK and EU plug adaptors included. The package also includes a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Who this is for

The UC-2065 is ideal for camera operators, filmmakers and travelling production crews who use USB-C rechargeable camera batteries alongside laptops and other portable electronics. Its small size, multiple outputs and international plug options also make it useful as an everyday travel charger where carrying several separate adaptors would be inconvenient.

How it works

Compact 65W GaN charging

The UC-2065 uses Gallium Nitride technology, allowing SWIT to produce a smaller and lighter charger while delivering up to 65W of power. The charger measures just 73.5 × 43.5 × 31mm and weighs 100g, making it easy to keep in a camera bag, laptop case or travel kit.

Two USB-C ports and one USB-A port

Three charging connections provide flexibility for different types of equipment:

• 1 x USB-C1
• 1 x USB-C2
• 1 x USB-A

Either USB-C port can provide up to 65W when used individually, while the USB-A port provides up to 60W when used alone. When several ports are used simultaneously, available power is distributed between them.

Simultaneous charging

The UC-2065 can power multiple compatible devices at once, with output distributed as follows:

• USB-C1 + USB-C2: 45W + 20W
• USB-C1 + USB-A: 45W + 18W
• USB-C2 + USB-A: 20W + 18W
• USB-C1 + USB-C2 + USB-A: 45W + 10W + 10W

This allows a higher-power device to remain connected alongside smaller accessories, making the charger useful for mixed production and travel setups.

Charge compatible camera batteries

The UC-2065 can directly charge compatible camera batteries equipped with USB-C charging ports.

SWIT specifies the following full charging times for compatible V-mount and B-mount batteries:

• SWIT OMNI-50S, 50Wh: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT OMNI-99S, 99Wh: approximately 2 hours 45 minutes
• SWIT MINO-S70, 70Wh: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT MINO-S140, 140Wh: approximately 3 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT MINO-S210, 210Wh: approximately 5 hours
• SWIT CIMO-98S, 98Wh: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT CIMO-160S, 160Wh: approximately 4 hours
• SWIT CIMO-200S, 196Wh: approximately 4 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT CIMO-290S, 290Wh: approximately 6 hours 40 minutes
• SWIT HB-A290B B-mount, 290Wh: approximately 6 hours 40 minutes

Charge compatible DV batteries

The charger can also be used with compatible SWIT DV batteries featuring USB-C charging:

• SWIT LB-SU90C Sony BP-U type, 90Wh: approximately 2 hours
• SWIT LB-SF65C Sony NP-F type, 65Wh: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT LB-PD65C Panasonic VBR59 type, 65Wh: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
• SWIT LB-CA90C Canon BP-A type, 90Wh: approximately 2 hours

Charge laptops, tablets and smart devices

The 65W USB-C output also allows the UC-2065 to charge compatible higher-power devices such as laptops and tablets. Lower-power devices can be connected alongside them, allowing equipment such as smartphones and earphones to share the same charger where their charging requirements are compatible with the available outputs. For travelling crews, this can reduce the number of separate mains chargers that need to be packed.

International travel plugs

The UC-2065 accepts 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz input and has a foldable US plug integrated into the charger. SWIT also supplies snap-in adaptors for UK and European sockets, allowing the charger to be adapted quickly when travelling between regions.

Why choose this product?

The UC-2065 provides a compact charging solution for crews increasingly using USB-C across both production equipment and everyday electronics. Rather than carrying separate chargers for compatible camera batteries, laptops and smaller devices, the UC-2065 provides three outputs from a single 100g power adaptor. Its interchangeable travel plug system adds further convenience for international work, while the included USB-C to USB-C cable means the core charging setup is supplied in the box.
