The TL180, is a Multifunctional Bi-colour RGB Light LED Tube which enables you to choose between 36,000 colours, to help enhance the mood of your footage or photography. With multiple colour modes and lighting effects, the creative possibilities are only limited by your imagination. With a CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI of 98, the TL180 is suitable for professional broadcast use, as well as for hobbyist filmmakers or photographers. The TL180 RGB Light LED Tube is ideal for Television production and filmmaking, as well as for portrait, fashion, and product photography.
The TL180’s 180cm length, gives unique advantages over its shorter counterparts. It produces a stronger and more impressive visual impact in your filmmaking or photography projects. They work especially well for big scenes when used as part of the set. They also work well as a key or rim light, enabling you to easily illuminate the entire height of the subject.
Since the TL180 Light Stick is an RGB Light LED Tube, it enables you to adjust the hue, saturation, and brightness of the light, which gives you access to an almost limitless range of colours. It also features 40 built-in Gel filter pre-sets to select between, enabling you to precisely replicate specific colours.
The Colour Temperature of the TL180 Light Stick can be adjusted anywhere between 2700K and 6500K. This enables you to match the colour temperature of the TL180, with the colour temperature of the ambient lighting in your shooting environment, so you do not get undesirable mixed lighting in your scene.
The TL180 RGB Light LED Tube features excellent colour rendition capabilities. With a Colour Rendition Index (CRI) of 96, you can rest assured that colours will be accurately replicated in your video footage or photographs. With a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) of 98, the TL180 tube lights are suitable for television production and broadcast use.
The TL180 Tube Light features an array of 14 different lighting effects, each of which has 2-3 variations producing a total of 39 effects. This enables you to easily replicate the various type of lighting scenarios, such as Police car lights, Fire, Candlelight, Lightning, TV sets, Fireworks, etc. enabling you to easily add mood and atmosphere to your cinematography.
As well as using its intuitive onboard controls. the TL180 can also be controlled using the RC-R9 2.4GHz Wireless Remote control (Available Separately), or via Bluetooth using a Godox Light smartphone app.
The TL180 RGB Light LED Tube also supports DMX control, which enables you to control a single unit or multiple units from a DMX control console. This makes it ideal for larger video productions and for broadcasting.
The TL180 features a built-in 14.4V/2600mAh Lithium battery with a runtime of approximately 2 hours, forty minutes on full power, great for extended productions, without disruption. The TL180 also comes with a mains power adapter, which enables them to be plugged in, for continuous usage.
The TL180 RGB Light LED Tube comes with various accessories, including steel cables and brackets that can be used to hold multiple TL180 tubes (sold separately). These accessories enable you to configure the lights into different shapes and to easily stack the lights for creative effect. The TL180 can also be used for light painting, enabling you to produce interesting effects when paired with some of its lighting Effect pre-sets.
