The TetherGuard LeverLock Plus Plate (TT-LLPLUS) combines camera-side tether cable management with an Arca-compatible quick-release tripod plate, helping photographers and digital techs maintain a secure connection without slowing down their workflow. Mounted directly to the camera, LeverLock Plus secures the tether cable and redirects strain away from the camera port. This helps reduce accidental disconnects and protects sensitive ports and cable connectors when shooting handheld, repositioning the camera or working on a busy set.
The Plus design adds an extended Arca-compatible dovetail, increased surface friction to reduce unwanted camera rotation and integrated Quick-Disconnect compatibility for compatible straps. A built-in 1/4"-20 thread and strap loop slot provide further options for adapting the plate to different shooting setups. When you need to move away from tethered capture, the controlled quick-release system lets you intentionally release the cable while leaving the plate attached to the camera.
Secure the connection at the camera
LeverLock Plus manages the tether cable where it matters most: at the camera connection. Rather than allowing pulls and movement further down the cable to transfer directly to the camera port, the plate secures the cable and redirects strain. This helps maintain a stable tethered connection while reducing stress on the camera port and cable tip.
5-Point Protection System
The integrated 5-Point Protection System uses the CamCleat Lever, Anti-Slip Speed Bump, two Retention Ridges and S-Channel to stabilise the cable. Together, these elements help minimise cable movement and reduce the chance of an accidental disconnect during active shooting.
Refined S-Channel cable routing
The S-shaped channel guides the cable through the plate in a controlled path, helping manage strain while keeping the camera-side connection tidy. LeverLock Plus accepts cables up to 6.5 mm / 0.26" in diameter.
Quick intentional release
Securing a tether cable should not make it difficult to switch shooting styles. LeverLock Plus provides controlled quick cable release without requiring you to remove the plate from the camera. This is particularly useful when moving between tethered and untethered shooting or switching between tripod and handheld configurations.
Arca-compatible tripod mounting
An extended Arca-compatible dovetail allows the plate to work with Arca-compatible quick-release systems. The increased surface friction is designed to reduce unwanted camera rotation once mounted. For setups requiring a different plate or attachment, LeverLock Plus also provides a built-in 1/4"-20 mounting thread.
Strap mounting options
Integrated Quick-Disconnect compatibility supports 3 Legged Thing and other compatible Quick-Disconnect straps. A separate strap loop slot provides compatibility with Peak Design and other string-attachable straps, giving you additional flexibility when moving between tripod and carried configurations.
