The SWIT S-3602F is a professional dual-channel charger designed specifically for Sony L-series (NP-F) DV batteries, including SWIT models like the S-8972, S-8970, and S-8770. Unlike traditional sequential chargers, the S-3602F can charge two batteries at the same time, with each channel delivering DC 8.4V at 1.8A. This simultaneous output ensures faster turnaround between shoots. Each channel also features a 4-level LED indicator, clearly showing the real-time charge percentage of the connected batteries.
In addition to charging, the S-3602F features two 5.5mm/2.1mm DC output sockets. These can provide a total of DC 8.4V at 3.5A, allowing you to power compatible cameras or equipment directly. For this, an optional S-7500F dummy battery adaptor can be used to connect devices that accept Sony L-series battery mounts.
The S-3602F uses a two-stage Li-ion charging method: a constant-current phase followed by a constant-voltage phase. This not only maximises battery lifespan but also protects against overcharging.
