The PixaPro 77.5-246cm Handheld Air-Cushioned Boom Arm Light Stand is the perfect accessory for run and gun photographers who shoot on location and have an assistant with them. This boom arm is designed primarily for use with small, or lightweight flashes such as speedlites and bare bulb flashes. It is also great for use with monoblock strobes with a remote head such as the CITI600 series or lightweight flash heads from pack and head flash systems. The boom arm light stand is great for times when you need your assistant to hold your lights in hard-to-reach places when shooting on location. It is especially good for places where you are unable to put a light stand down, giving you much more flexibility with your lighting. This 77.5-246cm air-cushioned boom arm light stand is ideal for shooting Weddings, Outdoor Portraits, Lifestyle or Fashion Photography. It is also great for use with some shotgun microphones.
This PixaPro boom arm light stand features a telescopic design, enabling it to be extended anywhere between 77.5cm, and up to approximately 246cm in length. Since this boom arm is made from aluminium, it is super-strong, yet lightweight, weighing in at approximately 0.9kg, making it light enough to be handheld by your assistant.
The 77.5-246cm super handheld boom arm features a foam-rubber grip handle, to make gripping the boom easier and more comfortable for the user. If the load mounted onto the boom arm is a little bit on the heavier side, the arm can also be braced against the ground, thanks to its durable rounded steel foot.
The 77.5-246cm boom arm light stand features an air-cushioned dampening system. This causes the sections of the boom to gently drift downwards if any of the locking screws get accidentally loosened, preventing sudden drops that could result in injury to the user or damage to your equipment.
This PixaPro boom arm features a reversible 5/8” Flat-Sided Spigot with a 1/4”-20 and a 3/8”-16 thread. The flat-sided nature of the spigot prevents your lights or accessories from rotating whilst in use.
