How the kit works

70cm Speedlight Softbox with Fixed Round-Head Bracket

The 70cm softbox provides a larger light-shaping option for a compatible round-head Speedlite. A softbox spreads and diffuses the output from the flash, creating a softer and broader light source than using a bare Speedlite. 40-inch Translucent White Umbrella

The translucent white umbrella provides a simple way to diffuse and spread Speedlite output. It creates a larger apparent light source than direct flash, helping produce broader and softer illumination. Umbrellas are also quick to open and position, making this a useful option when a straightforward portable setup is required.

40-inch Black/Silver Umbrella

Instead of firing through the umbrella, the Speedlite can be directed into the reflective silver interior so that the light bounces back towards the subject. This gives you a more reflective, directional option while still increasing the effective size of the light source compared with bare flash.

2 x Godox S3 S-Type SMART Speedlite Adapter Brackets

Each bracket can connect a flash to a suitable light stand and provides an umbrella mounting point, making them a natural match for the two included umbrellas. The brackets also feature a Bowens S-Type fitting. This allows compatible Bowens S-Type modifiers to be introduced into your Speedlite setup, expanding the range of light-shaping options available beyond the accessories supplied with this kit.
