PiXAPRO/GodoxSK400IIIV Four-Light Studio Flash Photography Kit

Build a flexible multi-light studio around four Godox SK400IIIV 400Ws flash heads. This kit combines four independently adjustable strobes with two 60x90cm rectangular softboxes, two 40-inch black/silver reflective umbrellas and four 240cm air-cushioned light stands. With four separate flash heads, you have the flexibility to build more complete lighting arrangements than a conventional one or two-light setup. Use the softboxes as key and fill lights, while the umbrella-equipped heads can provide additional fill, background illumination, hair light or separation depending on the subject and the look you want to create.

Each SK400IIIV provides 400Ws of flash power with adjustment down to 1/32 power in 1/10-stop increments. The built-in 10W LED modelling lamp gives you a preview of the direction and placement of your lighting before taking the photograph. The SK400IIIV also features a built-in 2.4GHz receiver for use with compatible Godox X-Series wireless flash triggers. A wireless trigger is not included with this kit.

How the kit works

Four Godox SK400IIIV 400Ws flash heads

Having four independently positioned heads gives you considerably more control over how a scene is built. Rather than relying on a single key and fill light, additional heads can be positioned to illuminate a background, create edge separation or introduce another controlled source where required. Flash output can be adjusted from full power down to 1/32 in 1/10-stop increments, allowing the balance between the four lights to be refined without repeatedly moving the fixtures.

Each head also incorporates a 10W LED modelling lamp adjustable between 5% and 100% brightness. This provides a useful visual reference when positioning the lights and shaping the scene before shooting. Each SK400IIIV has a built-in 2.4GHz receiver compatible with the Godox X-Series flash trigger system. With a compatible transmitter, flash power can be adjusted remotely and the flash triggered from the camera position. The heads also support optical triggering as well as wired sync.

Two 60x90cm rectangular softboxes with grids

Two of the flash heads can be paired with the included 60x90cm Bowens S-Type rectangular softboxes. Their two layers of diffusion create a broader, softer light source, making them useful for subjects such as portraits, fashion, products and still life.

The removable grids narrow the spread of light, giving you greater control over where illumination falls. This is particularly useful in a four-light arrangement, where controlling spill helps prevent one light from interfering with another part of the setup. Use them vertically for portraits and edge lighting, horizontally for broader coverage, or position them as your main key and fill sources.

Two 40-inch black/silver reflective umbrellas

The remaining two heads can be paired with the 40-inch reflective umbrellas. Their silver interiors reflect the flash back towards the subject, providing an efficient, broader source of light. The black exterior helps prevent light escaping through the rear of the umbrella.

Umbrellas are quick to position and work well when you need broader coverage, making them useful for fill, background illumination or general portrait lighting. Combining umbrellas and softboxes in the same kit gives you a useful choice between broader reflected light and the more controlled illumination of a rectangular softbox.

Four 240cm air-cushioned light stands

Each flash head has its own 240cm PiXAPRO light stand, allowing all four sources to be positioned independently. The stands extend to a maximum height of 240cm and feature air cushioning to slow the descent of the sections during height adjustment. Each stand has a maximum stated load capacity of 5kg and uses an interchangeable 5/8-inch spigot with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads. This gives you enough height to position lights above a standing subject or angle them downwards where required.
