The PiXAPRO Single-Net Fabric Rag is designed for use with the PiXAPRO Butterfly frame scrim frames. It enables Cinematographers, Gaffers and DPs to reduce the amount of light hitting parts of the set, by about 1/2 a stop, without affecting its specularity. Perfect for use on film sets, as well as in television, and theatrical productions.
Black single-net rags are used to reduce the amount of light falling onto your subject. Unlike Silks, Nets reduce the amount of light falling onto your set/talent by about half a stop, without affecting its specularity. These are ideal for use in situations where you need to reduce the amount of light on one part of the scene, without affecting the other.
The PiXAPRO Single-Net fabric uses the industry-standard Green coloured border, around the net, making it quick and easy for Gaffers and DPs to pick out of a pile, without having to spend time trying to figure out which grade of net you have.
