Building on the simplicity of the PlusX, this enhanced version introduces E Release firmware for improved compatibility, extended range, and greater flexibility across modern and legacy PocketWizard systems.
With automatic transmit/receive switching and a straightforward interface, the PlusXe keeps your workflow efficient while maintaining the dependable performance PocketWizard is known for.
Auto-sensing transceiver
The PlusXe automatically switches between transmitter and receiver modes depending on how it’s used, simplifying setup and reducing the need for multiple device types.
E Release firmware
Provides compatibility with PocketWizard E Series radios and can be switched to Legacy firmware for use with older systems. This flexibility makes it suitable for mixed or evolving setups.
Channel control
A simple backlit dial allows quick selection between 10 channels, helping avoid interference and organise multiple setups.
Connectivity
Mount directly to a camera via the hot shoe with no cables required. A 3.5mm sync port allows connection to flashes, studio strobes, or remote cameras.
Internal antenna design
Keeps the unit compact and durable, with no external parts to damage during transport or use.
