How it works

Connect the N10-ACC to the camera’s 10-pin remote port and to a receiving PocketWizard radio. The remote camera can then be triggered from a handheld PocketWizard or from the shutter button of a camera fitted with a transmitting PocketWizard.

For best results when triggering a remote camera at the same time as a handheld camera, use a remote camera cable on both the transmitting and receiving radios. With most mirrorless cameras, a second cable may also be required for functions such as silent shooting, electronic shutter or continuous high-speed drive where the camera’s hot shoe may be disabled.

Half-press / pre-trigger operation

When half-press or pre-triggering is enabled, the remote camera can focus and confirm exposure before receiving the final trigger to take the photograph. This can reduce the response time because the camera is already prepared to fire.

Availability depends on the PocketWizard radio and setup. The PTMM Pre-Trigger Mono Miniphone Adapter can be added to compatible setups for continuous pre-triggering. When enabled, the camera remains pre-triggered and can respond more quickly, although this uses more battery power.
