The SWIT PC-P461S 4-Bay Simultaneous Fast Charger is designed for productions that need multiple V-mount batteries charged and ready without working through them one at a time. All four bays can charge simultaneously, with fast charging available at up to 100W per channel. Compatible SWIT 14.4V batteries of 160Wh or greater can charge at 16.8V / 6A, while compatible SWIT 28.8V batteries of 160Wh or greater can charge at 33.6V / 3A.
SWIT states that a 160Wh battery can be fully charged in approximately 2.6 hours using 6A fast charging, helping reduce turnaround time between shoots or during demanding production schedules. A built-in 3.5-inch colour LCD provides detailed information for each charging channel, while four large LED indicators make battery status easy to check at a glance.
The PC-P461S is suited to production companies, rental facilities, studios and camera departments managing several V-mount batteries at once. Its four-bay simultaneous operation is particularly useful for workflows where multiple batteries need to be turned around quickly rather than charged sequentially.
Four batteries charging simultaneously
The PC-P461S provides four V-mount charging bays that operate simultaneously. This means batteries can remain on charge together rather than waiting for one battery to finish before the charger moves on to the next. For productions using several V-mount batteries throughout the day, simultaneous charging can significantly improve battery turnaround.
Up to 6A fast charging
Charging output varies according to the connected battery:
SWIT states that its 6A fast-charging mode can fully charge a 160Wh battery in approximately 2.6 hours.
3.5-inch colour LCD
The integrated 3.5-inch colour LCD provides detailed charging information for each channel, including charging progress, charging current, voltage and battery cycle times. This makes it easier to monitor a group of batteries from one charger and identify which packs are ready for use.
LED status indicators
Four large LED indicators are positioned on top of the charger, providing an additional visual indication of charging status. These indicators complement the more detailed LCD information and make it easier to check battery progress quickly.
Portable design
Despite accommodating four V-mount batteries, the PC-P461S is designed to remain portable. It weighs 2.43kg and features a built-in carrying handle for easier transport between locations. Its 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz input also allows operation across compatible worldwide mains supplies.
For productions working with several V-mount batteries, charging speed is only part of the equation. Being able to charge four batteries simultaneously helps keep a larger battery pool moving through the charging cycle efficiently. The PC-P461S combines this four-channel workflow with high charging rates for supported SWIT batteries and detailed monitoring through its LCD and LED indicators. Its integrated handle and relatively compact design also make it suitable for moving between studio, location and production environments.
