The Godox MG4K Bi-Colour LED film light is designed for professional cinematographers, gaffers, and DPs who demand maximum power and efficiency on set. Building on the revolutionary KNOWLED MG-series, the MG4K delivers the brightness of a traditional 4K HMI in a compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient form factor. With its robust IP65 weather-resistant design, intuitive controls, and advanced connectivity options, including DMX512, LumenRadio CRMX, and Bluetooth via the Godox KNOWLED App, this Bi-Colour LED light fixture allows for seamless integration into any professional pipeline. Featuring exceptional CRI 97+ and TLCI 97+ ratings, the MG4K ensures precise colour accuracy for broadcast, film, and theatre productions. Whether you’re lighting a feature film, TV series, or live performance, the Godox MG4K LED Cine light gives gaffers and DPs the versatility, reliability, and creative control needed for today’s demanding productions.
The KNOWLED MG4K produces light output equivalent to that of a traditional 4K HMI, while consuming only half the power. It can produce 25,600 lux of raw output, whilst only consuming 2000W of power, compared to an HMI, which requires approximately 4000W to produce a similar amount of brightness. This makes the KNOWLED MG4K a more energy-efficient and Eco-Friendly alternative to traditional HMIs.
Weighing in at just 10kg, the MG4K is approximately half the weight of your average 4K HMI fixture. Combined with the MG4K's more compact size, rigging, and positioning your lights on set is significantly faster and safer.
The Godox has optimised the optical performance of the MG4K via its advanced light system. Featuring the smallest light-emitting surface in the industry, the MG4K achieves class-leading light efficiency at 110 lm/W, producing, on average, more light output per-watt than average.
Designed for exceptional performance in a compact form factor, the MG4K uses Godox’s advanced cooling system, which dissipates heat more efficiently by up to 67%. This ensures you get reliable temperature regulation even during extended high-intensity shoots.
The KNOWLED MG4K's light body and controller box are IP65 certified. This means that it is dustproof and weather-resistant, enabling it to be comfortably used in weather conditions such as rain or fog. The IP65 certification also prevents damage to your light in both the short-term and long-term, allowing you to use the Godox MG4K LED video light in a wide variety of scenarios.
The MG4K has a CCT range of 2,800K to 10,000K, allowing you to perfectly match the colour temperature of the ambient lighting, ot to add mood and atmosphere to your scenes. It also features ±100% Green/Magenta correction, allowing you to match the lighting in your shooting environment even more precisely. When combined with its 0.1% dimming, the KNOWLE MG4K meets the demands and needs of any professional film, television, or theatrical production.
The MG6K-K1 bi-colour LED film light gives you access to a plethora of professional control methods, including DMX, CRMX, the KNOWLED APP, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and a control box. This enables the Godox MG6K-K1 to be seamlessly integrated into pre-existing lighting setups, ensuring a smooth dimming experience.
The MG4K-K1 LED film light is fully compatible with Godox's ever-growing G-mount modifier ecosystem. When paired with accessories such as the GR15°/GR30° reflector, Max60/Max90 beamlight, motorised three-light bracket, GL7 7ft Lantern Diffuser, and GF14 fresnel lens, the G-Mount ecosystem will give you access to a whole new world of lighting possibilities.
The Godox KNOWLED MG4K-K1 Bi-Colour LED Film Light is a compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient lighting solution that has an equivalent brightness of a 4K HMI. Perfect for cinematographers, gaffers, and DPs who need sheer brightness without the weight and hassle of a traditional HMI.
