The Godox AD200Pro II Portable Flash & S3 Bowens Bracket Kit combines a compact 200Ws battery-powered flash with a simple way to use a much wider range of light modifiers. This basic two-piece kit is an ideal starting point if you already own stands and modifiers, or want to build a portable lighting system around the AD200Pro II.
The AD200Pro II provides the light source for the kit. With up to 200Ws available, it gives photographers considerably more lighting control than a conventional speedlite while retaining a compact form that is easy to incorporate into a location kit. Output can be adjusted through 10 stops from 1/512 to full power in 0.1-stop increments. This broad adjustment range makes it easier to fine-tune the flash for anything from subtle fill to a more dominant key light.
The included S3 bracket significantly expands the range of modifiers that can be used with the AD200Pro II. Once the flash is secured in the bracket, compatible Bowens S-Type modifiers can be mounted to the front. This gives you access to softboxes for broader, softer illumination, beauty dishes and reflectors for more directional light, snoots for tighter control and other compatible Bowens accessories.
This kit keeps things straightforward: one powerful compact flash and the bracket needed to connect it to the widely used Bowens S-Type modifier system. It is particularly useful if you already have light stands and modifiers and do not need to duplicate equipment you own. Use the AD200Pro II as a compact portable flash when travelling light, or place it into the S3 bracket when you need a larger softbox or another Bowens S-Type modifier.
