Build a flexible portrait setup with two Godox AD600BMII 600Ws battery-powered flashes, wireless control, a 2 x 3m PiXAPRO hand-painted Cloudy Blue backdrop and the stands needed to position your lighting and background.
Designed for photographers who need a repeatable setup that can work both in a studio and at different venues, this kit combines powerful battery-operated flash with a dedicated background system. The AD600BMII's battery power makes it particularly useful for location work where mains power may not be convenient, while the 2 x 3m backdrop provides a consistent visual background for individual and group portraits.
The two-light configuration gives photographers a practical starting point for lighting subjects from different positions, while the Godox X3 trigger provides wireless control from the camera.
This kit is built around the practical requirements of photographers who regularly move between venues, schools, graduation ceremonies and portrait sessions.
The two AD600BMII flashes provide the main lighting hardware. With 600Ws of power, a 10-stop adjustment range and battery operation, they give photographers plenty of control over exposure while avoiding the need to position mains cables around the shooting area.
The Godox X3 wireless trigger sits on the camera and provides wireless control of compatible Godox flashes. Its touchscreen interface makes changing settings straightforward, while TTL, Manual, High-Speed Sync and other flash modes provide flexibility for different shooting situations.
The two Godox 303 light stands provide adjustable support for the flashes. They extend to 260cm and use a spring-loaded dampening system, making them suitable for both studio and location work.
For the background, the PiXAPRO 2.8 x 3m telescopic background stand provides an adjustable crossbar from 1.2m to 3m and a height range of 1m to 2.8m. Its air-cushioned stands and 106cm footprint are designed to provide stable support during shoots.
The 2 x 3m Cloudy Blue hand-painted backdrop adds a more distinctive look than a plain studio background. Made from hard-wearing canvas, each backdrop is individually hand-painted, giving it its own variation in appearance. Its 2m width makes it suitable for individual portraits as well as smaller groups.
Having two flashes allows photographers to build a more controlled lighting arrangement than a single-light setup.
For a headshot or individual portrait, one flash can be positioned as the primary light while the second can be used to add illumination from another position.
For school and graduation photography, the two-light arrangement can help create a consistent setup that can be repeated as subjects move through the shooting area.
The battery-powered AD600BMII units also make the system practical for venues where access to mains power is limited or where keeping cables away from the shooting area is desirable.
Event and graduation photography often means working in temporary spaces rather than a permanent studio. The backdrop stand collapses for transport, while the AD600BMII flashes operate from batteries rather than requiring mains power.
The 2 x 3m backdrop is also practical for location work: it is large enough for individual portraits, siblings and small groups while remaining compact enough to transport in a standard car.
This makes the kit well suited to setting up a dedicated portrait area at:
The PiXAPRO Cloudy Blue backdrop is made from high-quality canvas and individually hand-painted. Its textured, tonal appearance provides a more characterful background for portraits and formal photography.
The backdrop measures 2m wide by 3m long and features a strong central core for mounting. It can be rolled for storage when not in use.
Because each backdrop is individually hand-painted, the exact appearance can vary slightly between individual backgrounds.
Each AD600BMII provides 600Ws of battery-powered flash power with a 10-stop adjustment range from 1/1 to 1/512.
It features a 40W LED modelling lamp, a colour TFT display, High-Speed Sync up to 1/8,000s and 2.4GHz wireless transmission. The built-in lithium battery is specified for approximately 500 full-power flashes, with recycle times of approximately 0.01–1.9 seconds.
The Bowens S-Type accessory mount also allows compatible modifiers to be added to the flashes when required. Modifiers are not included with this kit.
The Godox X3 (Xnano) provides 2.4GHz wireless flash control from the camera. Its capacitive OLED touchscreen allows settings to be adjusted with taps and swipes, while physical buttons provide an alternative control method.
The X3 supports TTL, Manual, High-Speed Sync and stroboscopic multi-flash modes, as well as front and rear curtain sync.
Important: the X3 is available for different camera systems. Select the appropriate Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus/Panasonic or Fujifilm version when ordering.
The kit brings together the two flashes, trigger, lighting stands and backdrop support required to create a dedicated portrait area.
The AD600BMII flashes use lithium batteries, making the lighting system practical for location photography and temporary event setups.
A dedicated backdrop and two-light arrangement make it easier to establish a consistent shooting position for a succession of portraits.
The AD600BMII uses a Bowens S-Type accessory mount, allowing compatible modifiers to be added separately as your requirements develop.
The same core setup can be used for event portraits, headshots, school photography, graduation portraits and general portrait sessions.

The hand-painted backdrop adds texture and colour while the two AD600BMII flashes provide flexible lighting control.
