Following the success of the GM55 field monitor, Godox has introduces the GM6S 5.5” 4K On-Camera Field Monitor. Featuring a crystal-clear 5.5” 1920x1080 IPS touch-screen display, with a brightness of up to 1,200nits of brightness, the GM6S can be easily viewed, even in bright sunlight, which opens up a whole new world of shooting possibilities, especially when shooting outdoors. It also has 3D LUT support via its SD Card slot. Featuring a 1,200nit brightness, the GM6S Monitor’s crystal-clear display can be easily seen, even in bright sunlight. This enables you to shoot at any time of the day with the greatest of ease.
Featuring REC.709 colour calibration, the GM6S’s display guarantees high-fidelity image quality with accurate colour rendition. What you see is what you get.
The GM6S supports custom 3D LUTS, which up to 25 can be imported via an SD Card, in addition to converting Log into REC.709. This enables you to preview your footage with colour-grading on the fly for more creative possibilities.
The GM6S features a fanless heat-dissipation system, rendering the monitor completely silent in operation. This enables you to capture crystal-clear audio, with no need for time-consuming noise reduction in post.
By utilising the optional adaptive camera control cable (available separately), the GM6S can be used to access the camera functions for further enhanced efficiency. Try it to liberate your eyes and fingers from swapping back and forth between the monitor and the camera.
Godox has reorganised the layout and functions of the UI for the GM6S, providing you with a more streamlined and intuitive user experience.
The GM6S Field monitor can be powered in a multitude of ways: It can be powered by either a Sony NP-F series compatible rechargeable Lithium Battery, via a DC power supply, or via a USB Type-C cable, ideal for emergency situations whilst shooting on location.
