Overview

The E-Image GAM260D Motorized Elevation System is a powered camera support system designed primarily for PTZ cameras, providing controlled vertical movement with a 30kg maximum payload.

Its three-section motorised column offers a 98–280cm height range and a 65cm stroke, with movement at up to 40mm/s. A height display and wired remote controller make it possible to adjust and monitor the camera position during production.

The system includes the EI-7004 Dolly, making it a complete mobile elevation solution for studio and production environments.

How it works

The GAM260D uses an electric motor to raise and lower the camera platform. The 65cm stroke provides powered vertical adjustment, while the wired remote controller allows the operator to control the movement without manually adjusting the support.

Three preset height positions can be selected for faster, repeatable repositioning, while the integrated height display makes it easier to monitor the elevation setting.

The supplied EI-7004 Dolly provides a mobile base for the system. The column can also be powered from an optional 26V V-mount battery using the specified optional accessories, providing an alternative to mains power for suitable shooting locations.

Camera Compatibility and Mounting

The GAM260D is designed specifically for PTZ cameras, with a stated maximum payload of 30kg. The P6 quick-release adapter provides the primary camera interface, while 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screw holes provide additional mounting options.

For other camera configurations, E-Image specifies that an optional EI-A19 100mm bowl adapter can be used with compatible video heads. An optional MS-010 tripod horizontal boom can also be used to mount two PTZ cameras simultaneously.
