Overview

The E-Image EI-CTR100 is a compact broadcast controller designed for precise operation of PTZ cameras in professional video environments. Its ergonomic layout combines a 2-axis joystick, dedicated zoom controls, camera channel buttons and adjustable control knobs for straightforward operation.

With support for up to five PTZ cameras, the EI-CTR100 provides centralised control for multi-camera systems. VISCA, Pelco P/D and UDP protocols are supported, with RS422, RS485, RS232 and IP connectivity providing flexible integration with compatible camera systems.

A four-colour LED multi-screen display provides real-time information during operation, while dedicated controls allow adjustment of exposure, white balance, focus, pan/tilt speed and zoom speed.

How it works

Direct PTZ control

The 2-axis joystick provides direct control over camera pan and tilt, while dedicated Tele/Wide bridge keys provide zoom control. Separate speed adjustment allows operators to select from seven pan/tilt and seven zoom speed levels.

Multi-camera operation

Five dedicated camera channel buttons provide quick access to connected cameras. The controller supports up to five cameras simultaneously, with five presets available per channel for fast recall of stored camera positions.

Focus, exposure and white balance

Dedicated controls provide access to auto and manual focus modes, along with OPT one-shot autofocus. Auto exposure and white balance modes can also be switched and adjusted, with current values presented on the display for more intuitive operation.

Flexible system connectivity

The EI-CTR100 supports RS422, RS485, RS232 and IP communication. Its built-in VISCA, Pelco P/D and UDP support provides compatibility with a range of PTZ camera control systems.
