Overview

The E-Image BA12 is an aluminium telescopic boom pole designed for ENG, EFP and field recording applications. Its five-section construction provides adjustable reach from 103.5 cm to 363.5 cm, giving sound recordists flexibility when positioning a microphone during production.

The aluminium construction provides a practical option for location work, while the telescopic design allows the pole to be shortened for transport or extended when greater reach is required.

An ergonomic twist-lock system allows the individual sections to be adjusted, while the padded foam grip provides a more comfortable handling point during operation.

The BA12 also features 3/8" and 1/4" mounting threads for compatible equipment.

How it works

The BA12 uses five telescopic sections to provide a working range of 103.5–363.5 cm. The sections can be extended or retracted using the twist-lock mechanism, allowing the boom length to be adjusted to suit the recording position.

The 3/8" and 1/4" mounting threads provide options for attaching compatible equipment, while the padded foam grip gives the operator a more comfortable area to hold the pole during extended use.
