How it works

Motorised elevation

The GAM260 uses an electric motor to raise and lower the camera platform at a speed of 40mm/s. The 65cm stroke provides substantial vertical adjustment within the overall 87–260cm height range.

This allows operators to change camera height without manually adjusting a conventional support system, which is particularly useful when camera positions need to change during a production.

Remote control and presets

The supplied wired remote controller provides control over the elevation system, while the memory function allows three preset height positions to be stored and recalled.

This is useful when a production repeatedly moves between established camera heights, helping operators return to consistent positions more quickly.

Camera mounting

The P6 quick-release adapter provides the main camera interface. Additional 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screw holes are provided for attaching compatible accessories.

For setups requiring a video head, the optional EI-A19 100mm bowl adapter can be used to expand compatibility.

Expanded camera configurations

When combined with the optional MS-010 tripod horizontal boom, the GAM260 can support two PTZ cameras simultaneously. The system can also be adapted for other camera configurations using the optional EI-A19 bowl adapter and compatible video heads.

Portable power option

For location work, the GAM260 can be powered from an optional 26V V-Mount battery when used with the optional EI-A05V clamp and AD-10 external battery mount plate with dedicated cable. This provides an alternative to mains power where a suitable portable setup is required.
