The DIGITALFOTO Micolive is a complete windshield and shock mount system designed to reduce wind and handling noise when recording with shotgun microphones. Built for field recording, filmmaking and broadcast use, it combines a rigid thermoplastic suspension, integrated cabling and a lightweight ergonomic handle into a single, practical solution.
Compatible with popular models including the RØDE NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4 and NTG4+, as well as other shotgun microphones up to 325mm in length, the Micolive helps maintain clean, usable audio even in challenging outdoor conditions.
Thermoplastic suspension system
The one-piece suspension isolates the microphone from handling vibrations more effectively than traditional elastic systems. It won’t sag, stretch or snap over time, making it more reliable for regular use.
Windshield (Dead Wombat)
The included windshield reduces wind interference when recording outdoors, helping maintain clarity in dialogue and ambient sound capture.
Integrated Mogami cable
A high-quality Mogami cable runs through the handle and splits into a thinner internal cable. This reduces vibration transfer while maintaining a clean signal path.
Ergonomic handle
The redesigned handle is lighter and more comfortable to hold, making handheld operation more stable during long recording sessions.
Boom pole mounting
A standard 3/8" thread allows quick attachment to most boom poles for professional setups.
