98Wh slim battery design

The CIMO-98S uses eight ternary lithium cells to provide a nominal 14.4V output with 98Wh / 6.8Ah capacity.

The ternary lithium cell design provides high energy density, helping achieve useful capacity within a smaller battery format. The cells also support operation in cold environments down to -20°C.

The 98Wh capacity makes the CIMO-98S a practical option for productions where a more compact V-mount battery is preferred.

150W continuous high-load output

Despite its slim format, the CIMO-98S supports at least 150W / 12A continuous output, including at low remaining battery levels.

Peak output is rated up to 200W.

This gives the battery the power required for high-draw cine cameras and allows additional on-camera devices to be powered as part of the same setup.

Dual D-Tap connections

Two D-Tap connections provide a combined output of up to 150W.

The CIMO-98S can be charged through its USB-C port using a PD 2.0 or PD 3.0 charger rated at 45W or above.

The stated full charging time with a compatible USB-C charger is approximately 2.5 hours.

USB-C chargers rated below 45W are not supported for charging the battery.

Four-LED power indicator

A four-LED indicator provides a quick visual indication of remaining battery capacity.

This makes it easy to check the approximate battery level before installing it on a camera or during production.

Rear LED torch

A built-in LED torch is positioned on the rear of the battery to provide illumination in dark production environments.
