The CIMO-290S is a high-capacity 290Wh cine-style V-mount battery designed for professional cinema cameras and demanding production rigs.

With a nominal voltage of 14.4V and 290Wh / 20.1Ah capacity, it delivers up to 250W / 20A continuously and 335W peak. This gives the battery the output required to run high-power cine cameras alongside monitors, wireless systems and other on-camera equipment.

Two D-Tap connections provide additional power for production accessories, while USB-A and USB-C connections support everyday electronic and production devices. The USB-C port delivers up to 65W and can also be used as a 60W charging input.

An integrated OLED display provides remaining capacity, estimated run time, battery cycle count and health information. A rear LED torch assists when changing or connecting equipment in dark production environments.

290Wh capacity

The CIMO-290S uses 24 ternary lithium cells to provide a nominal 14.4V output with 290Wh / 20.1Ah capacity.

The ternary lithium cell design provides high energy density while supporting operation in cold environments down to -20°C.

The substantial 290Wh capacity is useful for productions where longer operating times are required or where one battery is powering several pieces of equipment.

250W continuous high-load output

The CIMO-290S supports at least 250W / 20A continuous output, including at low remaining battery levels, with peak output up to 335W.

This high-load capability allows the battery to support demanding cine cameras and additional on-camera equipment simultaneously.

100W / 6A fast charging

The CIMO-290S supports 100W / 6A fast charging using compatible SWIT PC-P461S, MATRIX-S8 and S-3812S chargers.

OLED power and health information

The connection can therefore power compatible laptops, mobile devices and production equipment directly from the V-mount battery.

60W USB-C charging

The CIMO-290S can also be charged through its USB-C port using a PD 2.0 or PD 3.0 charger rated at 60W or above.

The stated full charging time using a compatible USB-C charger is approximately 6.6 hours.

USB-C chargers rated below 60W are not supported for charging the battery.

Rear LED torch

A built-in LED torch on the rear of the battery provides convenient illumination when working in dark production environments.

Double-pressing the power check button switches the torch on. Double-pressing again switches it off, while an automatic timer switches the light off after 60 seconds.

This provides a practical way to locate the V-mount plate and connections without reaching for a separate light.
