This 5cm Waffle Honeycomb Grid (also known as an Egg-Crate) attaches to any recessed softbox that has a Velcro-lined edge. They are used to restrict the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas where you don’t want the light to fall, such as in the background when you are shooting a low-key image.
It is especially useful for preventing you from getting lens flare when you are backlighting or rim lighting your subject.
This 5cm Waffle Honeycomb Grid is made from a strong, durable fabric allowing it to be collapsed and folded when not in use for pain-free storage and transportation.
