Iris Diaphragm for the MINI30D Projection attachment (SA-06)

The PIXAPRO Iris Diaphragm for the MINI30D Focusable LED light, is designed to be used in conjunction with the MINI30D Projection Lens attachment accessory. The Iris Diaphragm accessory fits into the gobo holder slot of the Projection lens accessory and enables you to project a circle of virtually any size you require, from a pinpoint of light, up to a large flood of light. this is ideal for highlighting a specific area of your scene and can be used for either video or stills photography.

The Iris Diaphragm features an 18 bladed metal iris which enables you to continuously vary the size of the opening via a single metal lever. The blades in the Iris Diaphragm work in a similar fashion to how the aperture blades in a camera lens work. Due to the curved nature of the iris blades, the Iris Diaphragm maintains a near-perfectly circular shape, regardless of how large or how small you make the opening. The MINI30D Projection lens attachment can either be de-focused for a soft feathered edge to the projection or focused for a defined edge.

The Iris Diaphragm for the MINI30D is perfect for use in both video and stills photography, great for emphasising certain details such as labels in product photography, or for highlighting certain details in cinematography.
