Where are Godox products manufactured?
Godox products are manufactured in Godox's own specialist facilities in Shenzhen, China, and are then shipped worldwide!
Covering over 30,000 sqft, the 4 Godox facilities include electronics assembly and plastic injection molding.
Do professionals use Godox?
Yes! Godox manufacture a huge range of equipment for both Photographers and Videographers in the professional spheres. Everything from high-powered flashes and LED to the compact, lower output lights are designed with quality and reliability in mind, and high colour ratings.
Godox also launched their KNOWLED Range of specialist LED equipment designed for large-scale film and television productions in 2023! With super high-powered HMI equivalent lights, and professional-grade features such as CRMX and super-precise control.
What is the best Godox light?
While there's not a one-size-fits-all perfect light to fit everybody's needs, there will be a perfect Godox light for you! Whether it's the popular AD Range Flashes, or the compact ML100Bi LED, you can find your match.
Why not take our personalised Godox Matchmaker Quizzes and find your perfect light in as little as 30 seconds?
Are Godox triggers universal?
While most Godox triggers are designed with HSS and TTL in mind and therefore work with specific camera brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji and OM/Panasonic, there is also a universal trigger option available.
The XT16 trigger will work with any 2.4GHz Godox flash, provided you're not looking to use TTL or HSS features. This solves the problem of needing to a trigger that can work across your different camera brands, and also for things like photography events where you need to swap triggers for different setups.
Don't have a Godox or PiXAPRO flash? We also have a receiver you can use to connect to your flash to use it with Godox triggers.

What is the best Godox flash for a beginner?
While there's not a one-size-fits-all light to suit every beginner, there are a few flashes that beginners and students tend to favour to fit their budget, needs, and skillset.
These are:
The Godox V350 - An approx 76ws speedlite with TTL and HSS - £148.99 RRP
The Godox AD200Pro II - A 200ws battery-powered compact flash with interchangeable flash heads. (Also used by the pros!) - RRP £348.00

What's the difference between Godox, Flashpoint, PiXAPRO flashes?
You might have seen our old PiXAPRO flashes like the PIKA200 and CITI600 (now discontinued) as well as Flashpoint branded lights in the US. There aren't any differences between these lights other than the branding on them, and they're made in the same factory to the same specification!
This also means that Godox, PiXAPRO and Flashpoint branded triggers and flashes will work together thanks to being on the same transmission frequency!
What fittings do Godox lights use?
This depends on what light you have. A vast majority of Godox LEDs and Flashes use Bowens S-Type fittings, to allow you to use a wide selection of modifiers. Smaller flashes also use the speedlite fitting or the Godox mount, while the super large LEDs in the KNOWLED Range use their own special G-Mount fitting.

Does Godox have an app?
Godox have a range of different apps for different purposes! Including a Godox Flash app for trigger settings control, a Godox Light app for LED settings control, and a KNOWLED App for professional light control and setup mapping.
These are available for both Android and Apple software.
