Thanks for Visiting The Photography Show 2024!

Our biggest show to date, The Photography Show 2024 is now over for another year! This year, we were so grateful to be able to create some new connections, and work alongside some new partners and companies for the first time. Thank you to everyone who visited the EssentialPhoto & Video and Godox stand during the show, even if just to catch some of our live demos! Check out our highlights of the show below, and we hope to see everyone again at the 2025 show in London...

Products

A big show for us this year, we took the opportunity to expand our display range further and invite more teams and brands in so we could show how much potential the equipment has!

With our usual Flash and LED lighting range areas as well as our modifier wall and stand section, we were able to display some photographer favourites that our customers know and love, while also adding a NEW Godox KNOWLED video lighting section, as well as interactive areas for customers to see OBSBOT webcams up close.

Working closely with Godox this year also meant that for the first time, we didn't display PiXAPRO lighting, allowing us to focus solely on the Godox lighting range! We were also lucky to receive stock of the brand new V1 Pro speedlite and the X3 Mini Touchscreen trigger just in time, so that visitors could get hands-on with these new releases for the first time in the UK.

Demos

LIVE PHOTOGRAPHY DEMOS

Joined by some of our familiar photographers, plus some new faces on our stand, we were lucky to be able to host some amazing live photography workshops for visitors to watch, and to even shoot their own photos!

Ranging from classic to creative portraiture, dog photography lighting tips plus impactful costume character images, we got to show of just what our PiXAPRO and Godox equipment can do for all kinds of photography!

G6 MOTION CONTROL

Joining us at the show for the very first time, the G6 team joined our stand to demonstrate their virtual production pixel mapping technology! Using LED Panels, and the TP4R RGB Tubes for lighting, they used miniatures and display panels to create a digital background effect.

BARRY MAKARIOU

Filming at 800fps at 4K, Barry hosted some mini-demos on our stand this year, using high-speed slo-mo cameras to shoot commercial drinks advertising videos! Using Godox KNOWLED lighting including the MG1200Bi and MG2400Bi heads, Barry demonstrated just how important powerful lights are when it comes to high frame rate shooting and commercial shooting!

We were very lucky to be able to work with a range of different brands and companies for this show to elevate the EssentialPhoto & Video stand with new and exciting areas and products!

GODOX

Working so closely as an Official UK Distributor for Godox lighting allowed us to get the newest Godox lighting releases shipped to the UK in time for the show! The X3 Mini Touchscreen Trigger and the V1 Pro Roundhead Speedlite were on display at our stand exclusively, along with a huge range of other Godox flashes and continuous LED lighting!

GODOX KNOWLED

We were also excited to introduce the professional KNOWLED Lighting range to The Photography Show for the first time! Designed for the film and television industries, these lights are built for power and durability for intense shoots, and it was great to show off their capabilities to visitors! As the only official UK KNOWLED distributor, this kit was exclusively at stand K404 to see.

OBSBOT

The OBSBOT team representatives were on hand during the show to show off their amazing 4K AI-Powered webcams for livestreaming and video recording, including for our live on-stand photography workshops and for our E-Sports gaming stream setup!

EASIFRAME

Working in conjunction with the EASIFRAME team who were also at the show this year with their own stand, we were excited to be using the Oatmeal backdrop fabric skin and the standard sized Cyclorama Frame on the demo area on our stand! Anyone who popped by for Gavin Hoey's Classic to Creative demo and That Photography Spot's Treat Catch demo will have had the chance to see this in action!

SCAN COMPUTERS

The team at scan.co.uk kindly loaned us one of their snazzy new 3XS computer systems for the show for our e-sports gaming stream setup! This helped us to show off the Godox audio and lighting setup designed specifically for streaming, and the OBSBOT 4K webcams which are perfect for streaming online.

FORMATT HITECH FILTERS

A leading photography and video filter manufacturer, we were excited to work with Formatt HiTech for the first time this year to display a range of their advanced camera filters!
