Information About Pre-Orders and Special Order Lead Times
Notice as of 26th March 2026 for Pre-Order and Special Orders placed and being placed by customers at www.essentialphoto.co.uk.
As a result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, a number of our stock shipment have been diverted through alternate shipping routes to ensure safe arrival to the UK.
This unexpected diversion has caused delays to the lead times of incoming Pre-Orders and Special Orders, as well as current out-of-stock products. Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control.
Please be aware that as shipments provide us updates, the lead time may change on short notice, and further delays are possible. We are endeavouring to provide the most accurate lead time dates as possible based on the ETA we are being provided by our shipping company.
Our team are working hard to find alternative solutions for these shipping delays. Please be assured that any outstanding orders will be prioritised for dispatch as soon as the stock is received.

How do I know if this will impact my order before I place it?
Any in-stock products will not be affected by this, as these are stocked in our warehouse or with a local supplier.
"Out of Stock", "Pre-Order" and "Special Order" products will be affected by this. If your product has any of the above notices in the stock tracker, or in the product name or title, please contact us before placing your order so that our team can provide you with an arrival estimate before purchase.
