Godox AD800Pro: The TIPA Award-Winning Portable Flash!

We’re honoured to announce that the Godox AD800Pro has won the 2026 TIPA World Award for Best Professional Portable Flash!
This award recognizes the AD800Pro’s power, portability, and versatility, helping photographers push creative boundaries both in the studio and on location.

Best Professional Portable Flash 2026

What did TIPA Say?

The battery powered AD800 Pro encourages spontaneous and creative lighting in both the studio and on location. Its 800ws output is designed to “overpower” sunlight, which sets up a balancing act between very bright conditions and shadow areas, opening new doors to creative outdoor “fill” exposures.

In addition, the unit also features a dedicated Freeze Mode with an ultra-short flash duration, making action fashion, dance, and commercial photography more accessible than ever before.

With fast recycling times, 300 full-power flashes per charge, an optional wired charge setup, and a built in wireless control system, the AD800 is ready to deliver exciting lighting opportunities, both indoors and out."
