The PixaPro 60x90cm Rectangle Edge Mask For Easy-Open Umbrella Softbox is a special type of softbox diffuser, that features a strip of translucent white diffusion material around the outer permitter, and an opaque black rectangle of fabric in the centre. It is designed to be placed behind your subject, enabling you to easily take dramatic product photos with a black background, and with a thin rim-light on all sides to separate your product from the background. Perfect for Product, Food and Beverage photographers. It can also be used for dramatic portrait photography.
The 60x90cm Rectangle Edge Mask attaches to the front of your easy-open umbrella softbox using a hook and loop fastening system, in place of your softbox’s front diffuser. Then position your product in the centre of the black mask (from your camera’s perspective). This enables you to achieve a thin-rim light that goes all around your subject to separate it from your background with a single light.
