The GODOX VL200 is a compact 200W 5600K daylight-balanced Monolight-Styled mains-powered COB LED Bowens light, which uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology. The VL200 is suitable for professional broadcast use, cinematography, video interviews and YouTubing. It is also suitable for stills photography, including portraits and products etc.
The VL200 Bowens Light uses a 5600K daylight-balanced 200W COB (Chip on Board) LED chip, which has a light output of 75,000 LUX at 1m, which is equivalent to the brightness of a traditional 2,000W tungsten light. 
The VL200 LED Bowens Light has a super-high CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of ≥96 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of ≥95 for accurate colour reproduction. This means that the VL200 is suitable for Professional Broadcast use as well as for Film-Making and Commercial Cinematography.
The integrated COB LED chip is also Flicker-Free, meaning you can shoot at virtually any framerate, or any shutter-angle without fear of introducing flicker into your footage.
The VL200 LED Bowens Light includes a controller box, with an LCD screen, and an intuitive control dial interface. The Controller box enables you to control the brightness of the light steplessly, between 100% down to 0% brightness.
The VL200 Bowens Light can be used with a wireless radio remote control (sold separately), enabling you to control the light remotely. It also features Bluetooth, enabling you to control the light via the GODOX app which is available for free on the App Store on iOS, and the Google Play Store on Android.
The VL200 Bowens Lighting includes dual V-Mount battery plates, which enables it to be powered by two V-Mount batteries. This enables it to be used in locations where main power is not readily available. Great for using on location whilst travelling.
It also features a new Built-In Super-Quiet Electronic Fan which is very quiet, even when the VL200 is being used at its full power during extended shoots, making it suitable for use for any filming application.
The VL200 Bowens Lighting uses the popular Bowens S-Type mount, making it compatible with a wide range of modifiers straight out of the box, which gives you the option to shape and modify the light to suit your needs. It can be used with a plethora of different modifiers, including, Softboxes, Beauty Dishes, Fresnel lenses etc.
