The PIXAPRO LINEAR80 is a revolutionary 55W Daylight LED strip light designed for use by both photographer and videographers alike. With its slim, low power consumption and outstanding light quality makes the Pixapro LINEAR80 the perfect solution for both enthusiasts and professionals everywhere.
Dimmable
The LINEAR80 features high-quality LED’s chips dimmable between 0-100% power, which gives you 90° beam angle.
Light Control
The LINERAR80 LED strip produces a diffused quality of light without the need for additional diffusion filters or softboxes, giving you great looking results with little effort. The light also has barndoors which allows you to control the beam angle of the light, making it ideal for achieving an even wrap-around light.
Daylight Balanced
The LINEAR80 is a Daylight Balanced light with a colour temperature of 5500K that has a light-output of 1100 Lux at 1m.
Impeccable Colour Accuracy
The LINEAR80 is has a high CRI rating of ≥95, giving you an accurate colour reproduction to your photographs and video footage.
Flexible Light Placement
This light will be included with a ball head and heavy-duty flexi arm, allowing you to adjust and position the light at a desired angle which opens a wide range of possibilities with your lighting.
Cooler Running and Energy Efficient
LED lights can last up to ten time longer than CFL lights and many time longer than Tungsten lights. They are also more energy efficient using 1/3 to 1/30 of the energy consumed by fluorescent or incandescent lights. LED lights also run cooler as they convert around 90 percent of the energy consumed into light as opposed to tungsten lights where most of the energy is converted into heat. This makes the shooting environment a lot more comfortable for your subject and will also reduce air conditioning costs as LED lights don’t really contribute to heat build-up. Since LED lights are solid and don’t contain a fragile filament, they are also less susceptible to impact damage. LEDs can last for up to 50,000 hours which is 5-10 time longer than CFL bulbs, and many time longer than tungsten bulbs.

Linear LED is really useful in studio. Not especially powerful but very well built and delivered with a load of genuinely useful accessories.
Linear LED is really useful in studio. Not especially powerful but very well built and delivered with a load of genuinely useful accessories. A useful addition if you need clean edge light on products. I also bought the very well made Traveller Gear box which is also a really nicely made bit of kit. Solid and professional.

I have not fully tested the item yet. I would like it if the mains lead was longer. And if the connection from the transformer to the lamp itself was a little bit more secure. Having said that the light output appears to be even and good and powerful. I will only know the full benefit of the light after using it for a while. Nice it comes with a bag/case. This could be sturdier. It also comes with the stand, this I don't like actually because it adds to the cost and I already have way too many stands.
