Light Blaster Strobe Based Projector (LB-BLS)
The Light Blaster Strobe Based Projector from Spiffy Gear allows you to use your shoe mount flash and a Canon EF or EF-S lens to transform an ordinary wall into a creative background of patterns, landscapes, people and places. Use your vacation slides to place your subject in a crowd or on a bridge or in a village square.
If slides are unavailable or you just want some fresh material, Spiffy Gear has four creative multiple slide kits for you with everything from haunted houses to vivid patterns to earth in space. There's even a set that will allow you to put your choice of angel or fairy wings on your subject. For Nikon users there's an adapter that lets you share in the fun. The light Blaster comes with a slide cartridge, slide, and a Spiffy case.

Q&A’s
- To release your lens from the Light Blaster, simply press the little metal tab on the side of the Lens mount and turn your lens in an anti-clockwise direction to release it (please see GIF below).
- The MagMod Gobo's do fit into the unit, however these are not centred to the Lightblaster. This means that some of the slides may not display the whole Gobo.
- Unfortunately, some printers aren't capable to make the black completely opaque. One option is to stack two of the transparencies together.
- The lens’s focal length totally depends on your creative vision, the size of the object you want to light and the distance from that subject. Just like when “taking” a picture. The longer the focal length, the tighter the projection, so you can splash a wall with a wide lens or paint a heart on a chest with a tele. My only recommendation is to use a fast (i.e. wide aperture) lens.
- Please be aware that any other light sources being used will compete with the light coming the the Light Blaster.
