The PIXAPRO LED100D MKIII is everything that you loved about the LED100D MKII, but with a re-designed heat-dissipation system, allowing for quieter operation. The LED100D MKIII is a 100W LED studio light which uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology with brightness in excess of 11,000 lux at 1m, which is the equivalent brightness of a 1000w halogen lamp, whilst using approximately 10% of the energy, and running many times cooler than a halogen light would.

The PIXAPRO LED100DMKIII has a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 97+, for super-accurate colour reproduction, and a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) rating of 97+ (which is the industry standard measurement of colour fidelity). This means that the LED100D MKIII is suitable for broadcast purposes, as well as other video and photography applications.

The LED100D MKIII features a new, completely re-designed heat-dissipation system. The LED100D MKIII’s chassis, which is covered in large ventilation slits, to maximise air-flow or more efficient heat dissipation.  It also features a new built-in super-quiet electronic fan, with noise levels of less-than 18dB which is virtually inaudible… even when the LED100D MKIII is being used at its full power during extended shoots. This makes the LED100D MKIII suitable for use for any filming application.

The LED100D MKIII features a dimmer dial which enables you to control the brightness of the unit between 100-10% brightness in either intervals of 10%, for quick adjustments or 1% for more precise adjustments. The LED100D MKIII now features a new Memory function, which enables you to store and instantly access previous settings, for ideal for repeated lighting setups.

The LED100D MKIII is mains-powered, however, it does feature an XLR-4 port, which enables you to connect a plate for a V-mount battery (sold separately), for times when you would like to shoot on location, or away from mains power (we recommend the PiXAPRO BP 130 V-Mount battery for compatibility).

The LED100D MKIII also features a USB port, which enables you to connect a 2.4GHz wireless radio remote receiver dongle, which enables it to be used with a wireless remote control (both dongle and remote are sold separately), allowing you to control up to 99 units with up to 10 different channels simultaneously.  

The LED100D MKIII uses the popular Bowens S-Type Bayonet mount, which enables it to be used with a with a wide range of lighting modifiers, including Softboxes, reflectors, snoots and Beauty Dishes etc.
