This highly efficient E27 Screw halogen modelling lamp has an maximum output of 150W and 3200K colour temperature,  it is perfect replacement bulb for our 500w flash unit.  This bulb is also dimmable, can be used with many other brands of flash units, such as Bowens, Interfit, Elinchrom etc. All bulbs are packed in the individual boxes and ready for delivery.

Answer:

Wattage is a unit of power consumption and not a unit of brightness. Tungsten/Incandescent lights produce light by super-heating a small coil of tungsten metal called a filament until it glows to produce light, therefore the majority of the power consumed, is given off as heat energy. Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) bulbs work differently. CFL bulbs are comprised of two main sections: the ballast, and the gas-filled tube which on a CFL bulb is usually coiled. The Ballasts send an electrical current through the gas filled tubes producing Ultra violet (UV) light. The UV light then excites the molecules in the phosphorus coating inside of the tubes, producing visible light. Since CFL bulbs don’t need to superheat a filament to operate, and uses the power more efficiently (i.e. the majority of the energy consumed is converted into light as opposed to heat), CFL bulbs don’t require as much power to produce the same amount of light as a tungsten bulb does making them more energy efficient. CFL bulbs also run cooler. The brightness of a bulb is a measured in Lumens or Lux.
